[{'type': 'h2', 'content': 'Street Smart'}, {'type': 'p', 'content': '\nPractical Intelligence as introduced by Sternberg (1985), also known as "street smart," enables individuals to adapt effectively to their environment. This type of intelligence allows a person to skillfully adjust, shape, and select their surroundings to support their goals. Unlike knowledge gained in formal education, practical intelligence is honed through various life experiences as one actively pursues their desires.'}, {'type': 'p', 'content': "A person with practical intelligence is rich in experience. This type of knowledge is difficult to document and teach; it is known as tacit knowledge. Tacit knowledge is acquired through active adaptation to one's environment. Various experiences that lead to success when pursuing achievements or other goals constitute tacit knowledge. Although tacit knowledge can sometimes be documented and shared as explicit knowledge, it can never fully encapsulate the unique personal experiences that form it. Tacit knowledge is individual because it varies from person to person. Practical intelligence, or being street smart, contrasts with being school smart, which mainly involves learning explicit knowledge and represents only a portion of tacit knowledge. Therefore, richness in experience equates to richness in tacit knowledge."}, {'type': 'p', 'content': "Even though someone may have decades of experience as a manager, they can be outperformed by someone who has just begun their managerial role within months. Why? The key is the experience gained while striving for success. Practical intelligence sharpens with extensive experience. The more goals one has, the more experiences they accumulate. A manager with numerous ambitions will naturally face diverse challenges, enhancing their practical intelligence. Hence, practical intelligence is often associated with qualities such as persistence, ambition, passion, tactical skills, and political acumen due to a strong desire for achievement. The richness of one's accomplishments is determined by the number of goals they aim to achieve. Practical intelligence encompasses both aim thinking (pursuing goals) and act thinking (adapting to environments), as discussed in Dudley Lynch's (2003) brand mapping concept."}, {'type': 'p', 'content': "\nA person with practical intelligence typically exhibits at least five natural talents: achiever, actor, motivator, competitor, and commander. When you allow practical intelligence to shape these five talents, you become a Challenger, seeking challenges in life. If practical intelligence is dominant but not acknowledged, these talents may remain hidden (hidden talent). Let's explore these talents further!"}, {'type': 'p', 'content': '\nPractical intelligence creates an Achiever who is driven, ambitious, and passionate about success. Achievers are naturally focused on their goals, constantly seeking to prove themselves and achieve numerous milestones. They always want to prove that they are not like most people. Each goal they achieve adds to their wealth of accomplishments. They are adept at finding breakthroughs and may seem inclined to bend rules. They can lead themselves and have proven that they can control their environment through their achievements.'}, {'type': 'p', 'content': 'Practical intelligence also produces an Actor who thrives on being the center of attention. Seeking attention makes it easier for an actor to adapt to new environments, gain support from many, and build a wide network. They are well-known by many people. Their ability to attract attention helps them achieve their life goals by expanding their social connections.\n'}, {'type': 'p', 'content': 'A Motivator is a talent offered by practical intelligence. A motivator makes it easier for someone to encourage others to follow their desires. A motivator can reignite the passion in others. They help people find purpose in life and revive those who have become lethargic, lazy, or discouraged. Someone with practical intelligence is often associated with seeing everything from a positive perspective and minimizing the negative aspects. This person is optimistic, highly confident, and full of energy.'}, {'type': 'p', 'content': "Practical intelligence also produces a Competitor. This person has a natural ability to overcome rivals who threaten their achievements. They are adept at anticipating competitors' moves and trapping them into playing by their rules. They excel at leveraging environmental changes to their advantage while disadvantaging their competitors. This individual possesses a wealth of tactics for succeeding in competition."}, {'type': 'p', 'content': 'Practical intelligence also shapes someone into a Commander. This person is skilled at giving instructions and ensuring that everyone follows them. They have a natural ability to maintain command within a community. They are assertive and unafraid to issue orders. Their quick thinking and agility in understanding, adapting to, and anticipating their environment enable others to accept their leadership. The traits of an Achiever, Actor, Motivator, and Competitor help a person become a Commander. Welcome, natural leader. Do you agree, friend?'}, {'type': 'p', 'content': "These five talents shape an individual's mindset and foster self-confidence. A Challenger's mindset revolves around achievement and respect, characterized by traits such as determination, optimism, energy, tactical skill, and persistence. However, some may perceive Challengers negatively, viewing them as opportunistic, cunning, self-serving, honor-seeking, demanding, insensitive, difficult to manage, short-sighted, erratic, careless with words, and full of intrigue. It may be worth evaluating and mapping these perceptions. Are you ready to embrace the role of a Challenger?"}, {'type': 'p', 'content': '\nMake it a good day!\n<br>\nGreeting transformation'}]
